The relationship between Boo Radley and the children changed through out the book. It started out with the children being somewhat afraid of him, to being curios about him. They would run passed his house when ever they would walk to school but as soon as Dill showed up they became curios and wanted to see what he looked like they would also make up games and such. They tormented Boo, but he remained kind to them. He put a blanket round Scout when the fire happened and tried his best to fix Jem's pants. I think though their relationship grew to a kind of mutual respect.
